History

Founded by Douglas and Keith Fernandes in 1975 Teletronics has lasted for over 30 years.   Initially functioning out of Bandra the company moved out to the Fort area of Bombay in the heart of the then financial district.

 Starting out with just the two of them doing all the work and with an annual turnover of a thousand  US$ the company has grown to an annual turnover of 1.5 million US$.

 The first Dealerboard system was built for Merwanjee Bomanjee Dalal, one of the oldest broking firms, then, on the Bombay Stock Exchange. It consisted of mechanical switches on the Desk Console and an Electromechanical Backroom Switch. 

 The first Microprocessor controlled Dealerboard system was built for Syndicate Bank in 1989.  The first Teletronics Voice Logger was built in 1998 for UTI Securities Exchange.

 Today we have systems that go up to 250 Lines and 32/64 Dealerboards/Turrets.

 In 2001 Teletronics were appointed sole distributors for South Asia by IPC Information Systems.

Teletronics Dealing Systems Pvt. Ltd. can today boast of  more than 150 installations in India.
